Each year the AGI conference bestows prizes for exceptional contributions to the AGI field. We offered four prizes this year.

Kurzweil Prize for Best AGI Paper US$1250, went to Patrick Hammer and Tony Lofthouse for their paper ‘OpenNARS for Applications’: Architecture and Control
Springer Prize for Best Paper EUR1000, went to Evgenii Vityaev, Alexander Demin, and Yurii Kolonin for their paper Logical Probabilistic Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architecture
Kurzweil Prize for Best AGI Idea US$1000, went to Daniel Elton for his paper Self-Explaining AI as an Alternative to Interpretable AI
OpenCog Foundation Prize for Best Student Paper US$250, went to Andres Suarez-Madrigal for his work, in conjunction with Ben Goertzel and Gino You, on the paper Guiding Symbolic Natural Language Grammar Induction
