Papers must be written in either LaTeX (preferred)&nbsp;or Word. Author guidelines and templates can be downloaded&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.springer.com\/gp\/computer-science\/lncs\/conference-proceedings-guidelines\">here<\/a>&nbsp;and additional information about Springer\u2019s Lecture Notes in AI and CS series is&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/springer.com\/lncs\">here<\/a>. Two types of papers will be accepted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Regular papers, with a length limit of 10 pages, presenting new research results or rigorously describing new research ideas<\/li><li>Short technical communications, with a limit of 4 pages, summarizing results and ideas of interest to the AGI audience, including reports about recent publications, position papers, and preliminary results.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Appropriate topics for contributed papers include, but are not restricted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Agent Architectures<\/li><li>Autonomy<\/li><li>Benchmarks and Evaluation<\/li><li>Cognitive Modeling<\/li><li>Collaborative Intelligence<\/li><li>Creativity<\/li><li>Distributed AI<\/li><li>Formal Models of General Intelligence<\/li><li>Implications of AGI for Society, Economy and Ecology<\/li><li>Integration of Different Capabilities<\/li><li>Knowledge Representation for General Intelligence<\/li><li>Languages, Specification Approaches and Toolkits<\/li><li>Learning, and Learning Theory<\/li><li>Motivation, Emotion and Affect<\/li><li>Multi-Agent Interaction<\/li><li>Natural Language Understanding<\/li><li>Neural-Symbolic Processing<\/li><li>Perception and Perceptual Modeling<\/li><li>Philosophy of AGI<\/li><li>Reasoning, Inference and Planning<\/li><li>Reinforcement Learning<\/li><li>Robotic and Virtual Embodiment<\/li><li>Simulation and Emergent Behavior<\/li><li>Solomonoff Induction<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workshops, Tutorials and Demos:<\/strong><br>AGI-19 will include a number of exciting workshops, tutorials and software\/hardware demos. To submit proposals for workshops, tutorials or demos include the following information in an email:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Presenter(s). Each presenter must be registered in at least one of the participating conferences.<\/li><li>Affiliation.<\/li><li>Demo title.<\/li><li>Demo description. What would you like to show? Keep this to a few sentences with as much detail as possible.<\/li><li>Demo images.1-3 photographs (if hardware) or screenshots (if software).<\/li><li>AGI&nbsp;relevance. How does your work related to the over arching goal of human level artificial intelligence? As a rule of thumb, the more relevant your work, the shorter this answer needs to be.<\/li><li>Resources.
